Lisa is the Americas Manager for Marine Field Services & Monitoring at SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company. Prior to working at SGS, she conducted research on organisms in ships’ ballast water and biofouling (collecting samples aboard >100 commercial ships), taught marine science at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and led an interdisciplinary research group of scientists and engineers at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Key West, Florida.
