The Audit Manager will be responsible for staffing the Management Audit Division at the Port and
exercise direction over subordinate management personnel, professional, technical, and clerical
staff. The successful candidate will develop a system of controls over audit projects, review
operations and results, and formulates and/or approves audit policies and procedures ensuring
compliance with budget requirements.
The Audit Manager plans, formulates, and administers a program conducting a comprehensive
audit program on a broad range of Port activities to detect fraud, waste, and inefficiency. The Audit
Manager will be also responsible for ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and other
reporting mandates and promoting efficiency through internal control evaluations.
