WISTA USA is proud to announce that Sarah Brennan, Board Member since 2023, has been appointed as Vice President. She succeeds Jillian Tobias, President of LogOn Media Strategies, who concluded her three-year term as Vice President and continues to serve on the Board.
Sarah joins WISTA USA President Marlene Nicolaou-Boyer, Global Commercial Manager at Stolt Tankers, who was appointed at the 2025 WISTA USA AGM & Conference in Cape Canaveral, succeeding Christina Liviakis Gianopulos, Director of Business Development at American Ship Repair.
A dedicated member of the WISTA USA leadership team, Sarah has played key roles at the 2025 AGM & Conference in Cape Canaveral, the 2023 AGM & Conference in Washington, D.C., and at the Chapter level for both Florida and D.C. She currently serves as Director of Cruise Business Development at the Canaveral Port Authority and previously held a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard, where she was First Commanding Officer of Marine Safety Unit Port Canaveral following a tour at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Sarah earned her commission in 2004 after graduating from Texas A&M Galveston with a degree in Ocean and Coastal Resources. Over the course of her Coast Guard career, she completed two tours aboard cutters, advanced as a marine inspector, and served at some of the nation’s busiest ports, including Houston, TX, Houma, LA, and the Port of New York and New Jersey.
